What are emulsifiers?
A cream/lotion contains an oil phase and a water phase. As oil and water don't naturally mix together an emulsifier is needed.
An emulsifier contains both hydrophilic and lipophilic elements, which attract water and oil respectively, therefore it can bond to both and form a solution called an emulsion.
Our Lasumel E Wax Glyceryl Stearate (ECOCERT), is natural and made to ecological standards with no petrochemicals or solvents. The emulsion has an "all-in-one" use and doesn't require and additional emulsifier.
